A legacy is a title/powers handed down to the player. Added in the initial release of the Legends Mod, the player can chose who's powers can be obtained and used without a costume. Legacies can be obtained through various methods, such as object use or events. Prior to Legends 7.0, Legacies could be obtained though either Metahuman Powers Units, Symbiote Chambers, Altars, Adamantium Bath and Jedi or Sith Holocrons.
In Legends 7.0, the way to obtain and progress legacies have massively changed to make the process easier. To manage a legacy you must press the tilde key (~) or the associated control to manage your legacy. Instead of gathering experience points to skill-up, you gain skill points, which are earned through killing mobs. These skill points are used to level up through the legacy's skill tree.
