The Superman (Kingdom Come) suit belongs to an alternative version of Superman in the designated Earth-22. First appearing in Kingdom Come #1 (May 1996), it was worn by the Man of Steel after he lost his closest friends and colleagues to an attack orchestrated by the Joker. Distancing himself from humanity, Superman became active again after the new heroes accidently destroyed Kansas in a battle with his enemy Parasite. Reforming the Justice League, he fought against the brutality of Magog, one of the "superheroes" that had taken his place, and the schemes of his arch-nemesis, Lex Luthor. Due to his years of exposure to the sun, this version of Superman had overcome his weakness to Kryptonite.
In the Mod[]
The Kingdom Come Superman was added to the Superheroes Unlimited during the abandoned 5.0's alpha stages. He retains the same abilities as the default Superman costume, but is the only version that is immune to Kryptonite. The Kingdom Come Superman was also retained during the merger into the Legends Mod, where he can be accessed through the Suit Assembly Unit. To access him, the player must be wearing a default Superman costume and trade convert for 10,000 tokens.
